Anna Piel

Professional Biography

Anna Evans Piel concentrates her practice on insurance coverage and defense.  Ms. Piel has represented school districts as general counsel as well as various private sector clients in civil law issues including employment law.  She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.  Ms. Piel is licensed in Texas, having graduated from The University of Texas School of Law and previously was a law clerk with the Texas Third Court of Appeals in Austin.  She is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.

Anna enjoys spending personal time with friends and family, as well as golfing, gardening, and volunteering at her children’s schools and First United Methodist Church of Arlington.  She is married to Andrew B. Piel, who is also a Tarrant County lawyer.  They have two daughters; Elena and Lara.
