Professional Biography

David J. Pels focuses his practice in the areas of business torts and commercial litigation, personal injury litigation and transportation law.  Mr. Pels is admitted to practice before for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the U. S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the U. S. Supreme Court.  Mr. Pels is licensed in Texas, having graduated from Loyola University School of Law.    He is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Transportation Law Professionals, National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Tarrant County Bar Foundation (Charter Fellow and Sustaining Life Fellow), the State Bar of Texas (Sustaining Life Fellow), and a former arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.

Personal Biography

David is very active in the Tarrant County community.  He is Chairman of the Board and Past President of Cowtown Executives Association, President of the Fort Worth Executives Association, Chairman of St. Andrew's Catholic School Advisory Council, a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church Parish Leadership Council as well as a member and Den Leader of Cub Scout Pack 97.   David was also a former Advisory Board member of Camp Carter YMCA.
