Professional Biography

Jeffrey R. Allen is a trial lawyer with more than a decade of courtroom experience in business torts, commercial litigation, and toxic tort defense.  Mr. Allen handles complex, multi-party litigation on behalf of the firms’ clients, defending and prosecuting suits for products liability, mass tort, construction defects, breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud, and a host of other claims.  For one client, he also acts as national lead litigation attorney, overseeing local counsel and coordinating the defense of toxic tort claims across the United States.   

Mr. Allen is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is licensed in Texas, having graduated from Florida State University and the University of Texas School of Law. 

Representative Cases

• Defended nationally known automotive solvents company in complex, multi-party lawsuits in state and federal courts across the country.
• Obtained substantial jury verdicts on behalf of business owners in suits involving claims for breach of contract, breach of warranties, and violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act arising out of the sale of commercial cooling equipment.
• Represented buyers and sellers of real property in various lawsuits involving claims for fraud in a real estate transaction and construction defects.
