Monika Cooper

Professional Biography

Monika T. Cooper has worked closely with clients in defending a broad spectrum of cases involving business torts and commercial litigation, professional liability, health care and white-collar criminal defense.  Ms. Cooper is one of the firm’s top professional liability counsel.  She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.  Ms. Cooper is licensed in Texas, having graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.  She is a member of the State of Texas District 7 Grievance Committee, the American Bar Association, the ABA’s Lawyers Professional Liability Consortium (LPLC), Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), the Texas Association of Defense Counsel (TADC), Tarrant County Bar Association and is a Texas Bar Foundation Fellow.

Monika Cooper

Personal Biography

Monika has committed considerable time in many civic organizations. She currently serves on the Board of the Brock Youth Football Association, Inc.  She has also volunteered with Guardianship Services, Inc., Brock Education Foundation, and other hometown organizations.

Monika and her husband have a blended family consisting of four boys, two girls and two daughter-in-laws.  All of their children have been active in many school and sporting activities.  In addition to her children’s activities, Monika also enjoys gardening, hiking and camping.
