Professional Biography

Richard G. Williams has spent most of his 50 year career counseling banking and financial institutions on various legal matters.  Mr. Williams is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals, 5th and 11th Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He is licensed in Texas, having graduated from the University of Texas School of Law (LL.B.).  His background includes terms as both director and president of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel.  Mr. Williams has served on various committees as well as chair of the State Bar of Texas (Corporation, Banking and Business Law section) and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, Life Fellow.
