Attorney Bio
Mr. Gilmore is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, the Supreme Court of the United States, The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He has earned membership in the College of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Gilmore is a member of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (SPIDR) and the Association of Attorney Mediators, Inc., having received his mediation training from Settlement Consultants International, Inc.; the Dallas Bar Assocation; Center for Dispute Settlement; Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers, Basic Mediation and Basic and Advanced Negotiation; and Pepperdine University, Advanced Mediation.
Experience and Qualifications
Mr. Gilmore engages in a general civil practice with emphasis in state and local government, including areas of constitutional law, civil rights, employment discrimination, zoning, land use and condemnation. He currently serves as general counsel to the North Central Texas Council of Governments and as Special Counsel to the Dallas Independent School District. Mr. Gilmore's practice also encompasses mediation/arbitration, family law, probate and general civil litigation. He is a member of the panel of arbitrators of the New York Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers.
