Community Involvement
At Shannon Gracey, community service and professional involvement have been and will continue to be an essential part of the firm and its attorneys. The firm makes donations to state and local non-profit organizations and encourages its employee to participate in area civic, professional, and nonprofit organizations. In fact, our attorneys and staff contribute thousands of hours a year to volunteer and leadership positions in addition to their giving via pro bono legal work.
Besides their community service, our attorneys devote significant time to professional development organizations. Many of the firm's attorneys have held posts with the State Bar of Texas, including serving as chair of the Board of Directors, chairs of the Corporate, Business and Banking Sections, and holding directorships (both past and current). Others contribute their time and talents to the local Tarrant County Bar Association, including serving as past president, and to the Texas Association of Banking Counsel, serving on its board. At the national level, our attorneys serve in varying capacities with the American Bar Association.
