Shannon Gracey In Motion - Attorneys to speak at upcoming Texas State Bar events and National Institute of Trial Advocacy program

Lisa K. Vaughn, partner in the Litigation Group at the firm’s Fort Worth office, will be teaching trial advocacy at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, Southeast Region in New Orleans January 23-25. The weeklong program is entitled Building Trial Skills and it includes training on jury selection, opening arguments, witness preparation and presentation as well as excellent communication skills.
Ms. Vaughn’s expertise has made her a popular authority on trial advocacy techniques around the country for more than a decade.
Michael W. Huddleston, administrative partner for the Dallas office of Shannon Gracey, will be presenting a paper on "The Changing Contours of the Duty to Defend" at the Texas State Bar Association's Advanced Insurance Seminar in Dallas on April 8-9, 2010. Huddleston served on the Planning Committee for this seminar as well.
Mr. Huddleston will also be providing a "Supreme Court Update" at the annual meeting of the Insurance Section at the State Bar Convention on June 10, 2010. Huddleston was one of the founding officers for the Insurance Section and is a past-Chair of the section. He is currently Chair of the Dallas Bar Association's Tort and Insurance Practice Section.
