FORT WORTH, TEXAS – October 15, 2008 – Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP, is proud to announce the inclusion of two of its attorneys in the Fort Worth Business Press 2008 Power Attorneys list.  Of the twelve honored attorneys, two are ShannonGracey partners:  Lisa Jamieson and R.H. Wallace, Jr. 

Lisa Jamieson, a member of the ShannonGracey estate planning and probate group, was recognized not only for her legal expertise but also for her ceaseless commitment to the community.  Her many organizational involvements include Tarrant County Alzheimer’s Association, Guardianship Services, Inc., and Parenting Guidance Center.  Admired by her peers as a “go-to” lawyer, Ms. Jamieson is a true leader.  ShannonGracey partner John Bonds told the Fort Worth Business Press, “Many…consult Lisa to bounce problems off, knowing that she will give them a balanced and accurate response to whatever issue needs to be addressed.”  Ms. Jamieson is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. R.H. Wallace, Jr. is the former managing partner at ShannonGracey.  He began his legal career in 1973 after serving his country in the U.S. Navy.  Mr. Wallace has served as Assistant U.S. Attorney, Northern District of Texas and as Deputy Chief, Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Texas.  He came to ShannonGracey in 1983 and has been recognized many times for his work in commercial litigation, legal malpractice defense, and white-collar criminal defense.  Phil McCrury, current managing partner with ShannonGracey, told the Fort Worth Business Press, “When the difficult legal matter on your desk needs extraordinary good judgment, experience, and legal talent…you pick up your file and head down the hall to R.H.’s office.”  Mr. Wallace is board certified in criminal law and civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
