Texas Sized Firm Welcomes Two Adept Attorneys
Fitzgerald and Richter bring knowledge, experience to important practice areas

FORT WORTH/AUSTIN - Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP, one of Texas’ oldest and most respected law firms, welcomes two attorneys to its ranks, Chris W. Fitzgerald and Patrick S. Richter.
Patrick S. Richter joins the Austin team as a partner and part of Shannon Gracey’s Labor and Employment Law practice group. Formerly of Fish & Richardson, Richter is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Patrick J. Maher, head of the Shannon Gracey Labor and Employment Law practice group and Chair of the State Bar of Texas Labor & Employment Law Section says, “We are pleased to have Richter join our firm. With his extensive employment law and litigation background, he will add depth and experience to our practice.”
Richter is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Labor and Employment Section; the Austin Bar Association, Labor & Employment Section and Technology & Computer Section; the Federal Bar Association; and the Federal Circuit Bar Association, through which he is a volunteer for the Veterans Pro Bono Consortium.
Richter earned his law degree at the University of Houston Law Center, where he served as Associate Editor of the Houston Law Review. He is a member of several community organizations in Austin, and volunteers as a coach with YMCA of Southwest Austin.
Chris W. Fitzgerald joins the Fort Worth team as an associate and part of the Corporate and Estate & Probate practice sections. He was formerly with Moore Law Firm, LLP in Paris, Texas.

A graduate of Texas Tech School of Law, Fitzgerald is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association. He also served as president and treasurer of the Lamar County Bar Association.
