January 19, 2009 – FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Team Arlington™ Texas legislative reception on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Doubletree Suites in Austin. Shannon Gracey’s strong Austin presence and experienced governmental law practice group make this a natural pairing that will serve to strengthen ties between North Texas and the Texas legislature.
Team Arlington™ is an Arlington Chamber led coalition advocating for resources in support of Arlington’s economic development agenda at the state and federal levels. Primary partners include the City of Arlington, UT Arlington, Tarrant County, Tarrant County College, the Tarrant County Workforce Development Board, and the Arlington Independent School District. Annually, the Chamber leads delegations to Austin (January) and Washington D.C. (February) to present a “case for support” to elected and appointed officials, and to meet with agencies to garner support for Arlington’s economic development agenda.
