Our health law section stays abreast of the ever increasing number of regulations promulgated in association with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act or “HIPAA” and can provide assistance on both privacy and security provisions. Attorneys have spoken on HIPAA since the statute was enacted and have assisted clients on various HIPAA issues, including issues related to employment relationships, drafting forms, procedures and policies, litigation issues, website development and related security issues, and business associate agreements.

Additionally, the health care section working with other firm team members can assist with any related tax issues, including tax-exempt and non-profit status, and can assist with health care related litigation claims, including those related to professional malpractice.
