Recruiting
Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, L.L.P. is always looking for qualified and accomplished law students or lateral hires to join the firm. While we do not actively recruit on law school campuses, we encourage students to send us their resumes. Resumes can be directed to the firm's recruiting partner, Rich Lowe, in the Fort Worth office.
We also have summer clerkship positions available to allow law students that meet our hiring criteria to experience the firm, our culture, and our work. Performance in undergraduate school and law school, participation on law review, moot court, mock trial, client counseling, and other activities, as well as a candidate's maturity, are all considered. Because our lawyers interact with clients early in their careers, considerable emphasis is placed on an associate's ability to communicate and relate to others in a professional manner. Many of Shannon Gracey's attorneys have also participated in judicial clerkships before joining the firm.
The firm regularly evaluates the business opportunities and potential synergies that lateral hires offer. Qualified lateral candidates are considered on an individualized basis. Resumes and inquiries also can be directed to Rich Lowe.
